Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Paolo Del Geno (ranked 4336 p4p, 3892 weight class) and Dreynos Elvul (ranked 206 p4p, 187 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Anthony Taglia and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Del Geno tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Elvul was well out of range. Poor timing from Del Geno.
Elvul closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Del Geno to the mat! Del Geno manages to get full guard.
Del Geno is wriggling around but Elvul manages to pass to half guard.
Del Geno on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Del Geno tries to get out of the position.
Elvul is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Elvul uses his free foot to push down on Del Geno's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Del Geno.
Elvul has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! Del Geno is forced to tap!
