Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Xin Chan (ranked 3474 p4p, 4226 weight class) and Rodriguo Silva (ranked 457 p4p, 543 weight class). Rodriguo Silva will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Xin Chan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rodriguo Silva!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Atkins and Paul Tew.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Chan shoots in and bounces Silva off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Chan tries to free his leg and advance position but Silva is retaining full guard.
Silva is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Silva is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

That was a close round but I would say that Xin Chan will probably get the nod.

Chan shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Silva's guard.

Silva has his foot on Chan's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Chan works his way back into a safe position though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That was a close second round but I would say that Xin Chan will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!

A head kick misses from Silva.
Chan ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Silva moves away.
Silva steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Chan.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

I would just about give that final round to Rodriguo Silva.
