The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Linwood manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Maddison on his heels. He'll look to pass Maddison's guard now, I'm sure.
Maddison trying to keep a closed guard but Linwood is proving a slippery customer.

Linwood is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Linwood passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Maddison!

Linwood manages to capitalize on a mistake by Maddison to take his back!

Linwood is looking for the choke from the back position but Maddison is controlling his hands well.
Linwood controlling the position well here. Maddison rolled but Linwood kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
Linwood cracks Maddison with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Maddison from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.

Linwood is working for a rear naked choke. Maddison is not defending it well and Linwood has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Maddison refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Maddison's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
