Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Assad Fez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joseph Allen!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Stewart Dunkirk and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice uppercut lands for Fez. That snapped Allen's head back.
Fez drops Allen with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Allen looks back up at him and smiles so Fez waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Allen is rocked!
Fez digs a good body shot into Allen's ribs.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Fez throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Allen stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Fez drops Allen with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Allen looks back up at him and smiles so Fez waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Allen is still on wobbly legs! Can Fez finish him?
Assad Fez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Allen tries for a takedown but Fez sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Fez lands an uppercut, right on the button! Allen tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Assad Fez!
During a confident post fight interview, Assad Fez thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
