Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 7 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chad Strdoza! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 14 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tiger Grandpa! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, George Francis and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Grandpa tries to clinch but Strdoza moves out of range. Strdoza went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Grandpa throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Strdoza. Strdoza staying out of range there. Strdoza appears to be looking for a big counter. Grandpa connects with a jab. Grandpa misses with a head kick.
Grandpa catches Strdoza with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Grandpa swings widly with a right hand
and Strdoza counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Grandpa throws a nice head kick!
It looks like Chad Strdoza has been cut. Grandpa shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Strdoza as he jumps to the side. Strdoza appears to be looking for a big counter. A head kick misses from Grandpa. As Grandpa looks to move away, Strdoza throws a big counter combo but Grandpa just gets out of the way. Chad Strdoza is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Grandpa slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Strdoza on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. A head kick misses from Grandpa. Tiger Grandpa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Strdoza takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Strdoza is rocked! Grandpa cracks Strdoza with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Strdoza falls to his knees and Grandpa doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tiger Grandpa!
