Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Cennedy Brown!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Tavin Carth!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Eddie Farnsworth and Jorge Garcia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carth walks into a left hand.
Carth thows a body kick. Brown tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Carth uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Brown.
Brown misses with a series of wild punches.
Carth lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Carth swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Tavin Carth seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Brown throws a poor cross that misses
and Brown takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Brown moves into range and clinches up with Carth.
Carth lands a hook to the side of the head.
A nice right hand lands inside from Carth.
Carth lands a nice uppercut.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Brown escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Brown throws out a loose jab but Carth uses good head movement to avoid it.
Carth ducks under a wild hook from Brown.
Carth replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Brown blocks it well.

Brown thows a left - swing and a miss!
Carth tries a head kick but it misses.
Brown fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Carth has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Brown looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Carth's corner calls for a 1-2. Carth obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
A jab from Brown finds it's way through Carth's defenses.
Carth lands a slapping body shot.
Carth throws the kick towards the body but Brown avoids it.
Some wild striking there from Carth.
Carth looks winded!
Brown scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Carth pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Decent striking displayed by Carth there.
Brown shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Carth sprawls well. Carth wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Brown gets slowly back to his feet.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Carth lands a nice looking kick to the body. Brown takes a step back to recover.
Brown dives in and grabs Carth's left leg, looking for a takedown. Carth pushes down on Brown's head and hops out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cennedy Brown. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Brown misses with a low kick.
As Brown backs off Carth throws a huge counter combo but Brown manages to avoid it all.

Carth fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Brown, pushing him back against the cage.
Carth is defending well against a takedown attempt.

Carth working some nice short punches in the clinch.

Carth breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Brown connects with a good right hand that stumbles Carth. Carth circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

A jab from Carth misses.
Carth catches Brown with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Brown will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Carth takes the fight into the clinch.

Carth breaks the clinch.
Brown missing with a left hand there. Carth was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Carth tries to clinch but Brown is having none of it.

Brown pushes Carth up against the cage in a clinch.
Carth looking to slow down the pace here.
Carth is pressed up against the cage. Brown has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Carth down to the mat. Carth avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Brown closes the distance and pushes Carth back into the cage.
Carth tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Brown's elbow.
Brown is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Carth's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Brown is trying to break the clinch but Carth is controlling him.
Carth lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Brown.
Brown drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Carth gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Carth scores with a hook to the body.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Tavin Carth dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Brown throws a hook to the side of Carth's head but Carth sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Carth has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Carth has taken the fight to the clinch.
Carth digs a right hand into Brown's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Brown's gas tank.
Brown is looking to take this one to the mat.
Brown is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Carth pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Carth breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Brown throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Brown shoots in for a takedown but Carth shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cennedy Brown. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Brown avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Carth scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Brown misses with a double jab.
Crunch! Carth slams his shin into Brown's torso.
Carth scores with a nice head shot.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Carth clinches up with Brown and pushes him back against the cage.

A right-left combo lands from Carth.
Carth is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Brown connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Carth scores with a spinning back kick!
Brown tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Carth swivels and escapes.
Carth scores with a nice body kick.
Brown takes one to the chin there.
Brown throws a head kick but Carth moves out of range.
Brown gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Carth counters with a stiff right hand.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Carth.

Carth lands with a cross.
Carth tries to clinch but Brown moves out of range.
Carth lands with a nice combination. Brown backs away looking to recover.
Brown throws a one two combo.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Carth.
A punch combination from Carth misses.
Brown swings widly with a right hand
and Carth makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Carth takes one to the side of the head.
Brown's jab looks to have found its range, popping Carth under the eye.
Brown fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Carth is out of range.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Carth! But no joy.
Brown moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Carth lunges at Brown with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Brown's hand.
Brown misses with a low kick.

Brown takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
A cross from Brown lands.
Brown jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Brown fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Carth bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Brown misses with a shot to the body
and Brown takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Nice shot lands for Brown.
Carth lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Brown will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body.

Carth moves into the clinch.

Carth pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Carth moves out of range as Brown throws a body kick.
Tavin Carth seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Brown misses with a right hand
and Carth makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Brown really felt that one!
Carth is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Brown fires out a quick counter leg kick but Carth just manages to avoid it.
Carth drops his hands momentarily and Brown takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Tavin Carth is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Carth uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Brown.
Carth will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Brown rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Carth moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Carth is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Brown was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Brown shoots in for a double leg but Carth sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Carth changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Tavin Carth showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Brown needs to keep his hands up - Carth had a free shot at his head there.

Carth scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Carth has worked on his takedown defense in the runup to this fight and it is paying off so far.
Carth fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Brown manages to avoid it.
Brown tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Carth defends well and Brown ends up having to push Carth into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Carth manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
Carth misses with some punches.
Brown throws an elbow that misses.
Brown's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Carth throws a punch but it's blocked by Brown.

Brown wants a takedown but no success here.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Brown is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Brown has gone for a leg lock! Carth slips out almost immediately though and dives into Brown's guard.

Brown wants to stand but Carth is controlling the position.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Brown is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Cennedy Brown has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Carth makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Brown looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Carth throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Brown works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

And that's the end of the fight!
Tavin Carth comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Carth has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
