PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mister Winky (ranked 5256 p4p, 3982 weight class) and Space Jesus (ranked 600 p4p, 495 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Mister Winky!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Space Jesus!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Michael Johnstone and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Winky fakes the leg kick and cracks Jesus in the body.

Jesus takes the fight into the clinch.

Jesus pulls Winky into guard.
Jesus controlling the position.
Jesus is continuing to stall.
Winky tries to free his leg and advance position but Jesus is retaining full guard.

Jesus is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Winky is aware though and is defending well.
Jesus is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Jesus looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Winky has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jesus has control of Winky's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Winky regains control of the situation pretty easily.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Jesus is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Winky can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Jesus throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Winky escapes and throws Jesus's legs to the side, diving into side control!

That was a close second round but I would say that Mister Winky will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

I would just about give that final round to Space Jesus.
