The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turrik fails with the takedown.
Turrik lands a nice hook to Brzozowski's body. Brzozowski takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
A head kick from Turrik lands but Brzozowski takes it in his stride.
Turrik has his takedown stuffed

and Brzozowski counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Brzozowski drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Turrik dives on top into guard.

Brzozowski utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Turrik got a little sloppy there for a moment and Brzozowski has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Turrik has managed to get both his arms back between Brzozowski's legs - danger averted.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Brzozowski lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Turrik looking to hit a scissor sweep but Brzozowski is one step ahead there.

Brzozowski thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Brzozowski drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Brzozowski seems to have locked his on tight now - Turrik screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Brzozowski, as he picks up the win!
