Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Helen Salvacion (ranked 24850 p4p, 24429 weight class) and Virgin Mary (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Virgin Mary enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Helen Salvacion! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Virgin Mary! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Alan Glass and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Mary gets a takedown into half guard. Mary is thwarting Salvacion's attempts to control the position. Salvacion keeping control of the position. Mary has decided to stand back up but his arm is trapped. Whilst he's worrying about his arm, Salvacion works to full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mary is stalling in the full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Salvacion striking off his back but it's not causing Mary any problems. Mary throwing strikes from guard but Salvacion blocks nicely. Salvacion trying to control the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Mary with a lazy takedown attempt and Salvacion counters with a nice body kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Mary fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Salvacion is out of range. Mary shoots and misses and Salvacion finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Salvacion scores with a nice body kick.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Mary is defended easily by Salvacion. Salvacion appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Helen Salvacion has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Virgin Mary.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Salvacion dives in for a single leg takedown but Mary sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Mary counters with a body kick. Salvacion goes for a takedown in the clinch but Mary prevents it.
Mary escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Salvacion fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Mary shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Salvacion's guard. Mary trying to stand up but can't free himself from Salvacion's guard. Salvacion trying to keep a closed guard but Mary is proving a slippery customer.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Virgin Mary dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Mary closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Salvacion did well to prevent Mary getting side control. Salvacion trying to control but Mary postures up.
Salvacion preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mary seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Mary tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Salvacion.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Salvacion fails with the takedown. Mary replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Salvacion blocks it well. Salvacion has his takedown stuffed and Mary counters with a good, hard body kick but Salvacion shrugs it off. Salvacion shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Mary as he avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Helen Salvacion. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mary closes the distance and clinches up with Salvacion, looking for a takedown. Mary pushes Salvacion against the cage but Salvacion circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Salvacion changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Salvacion fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Mary avoids it really well and circles away. Mary feints and as Salvacion raises his hands in defense, Mary changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mary wants to get up but he can't break Salvacion's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Mary works over Salvacion with some ground and pound from guard. Mary missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Salvacion controls Mary momentarily but Mary frees himself. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Mary showing good wrestling skills to control the position. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Virgin Mary showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Excellent takedown into side control there by Mary. Mary just content to control the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mary scores with a couple of short elbows.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mary decides to take the fight back to the feet. Salvacion fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Mary thinks about the counter body kick. Mary dives in for a single leg takedown but Salvacion sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Salvacion swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Salvacion throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mary's waist but Mary gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Salvacion off to one side. Mary tries to counter by closing the distance. Mary shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Salvacion as he jumps to the side. Salvacion is looking to counter with a body kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Salvacion shoots in for a takedown but Mary shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Mary thinks about the counter body kick. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Helen Salvacion. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mary leaves Salvacion with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Mary gets a double leg takedown into Salvacion's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Salvacion looking to control.
Salvacion looking to hit a scissor sweep but Mary is one step ahead there. Mary lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Mary is stalling in the full guard. Salvacion is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Mary sitting in guard here, content to control. The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup. Virgin Mary is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Mary is looking to stand up but Salvacion won't let him.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Helen Salvacion has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Salvacion closes the distance and clinches up with Mary, looking for a takedown. Salvacion pushes Mary against the cage but Mary circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Mary steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect. Crunch! Salvacion slams his shin into Mary's torso.
And that's the end of the fight! Virgin Mary comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Mary has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
