And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Napon Sarawut!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Daniel Franklin and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sarawut shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Alawi napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Alawi regains half guard.
Alawi regains full guard. Nicely done.
Sarawut is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Alawi has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Sarawut is looking to defend but Alawi has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Sarawut! Alawi pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Sarawut taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Tahboule Alawi!
After winning the bout, Tahboule Alawi thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
