Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Lucas Barbosa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Sir Turner!
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Dirk Anderson and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Turner.
Barbosa attempts a counter takedown but Turner avoids it well and moves away.
Turner looks to land a right hand but Barbosa moved out of range.
Turner thows a leg kick but Barbosa checks it
and Barbosa counters with a single leg into guard. Turner didn't expect that.
Barbosa looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Barbosa throwing strikes from guard but Turner blocks nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Barbosa tries to free his leg and advance position but Turner is retaining full guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Turner can do anything to dispel that myth.

Barbosa trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Barbosa loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Barbosa postures up in Turner's guard and throws a big left but Turner blocks it.
Barbosa pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Turner is keeping the position for now.
Turner can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Barbosa controls the pace.
Barbosa wants to control from the top but Turner keeps moving.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Turner thows a leg kick but Barbosa checks it
and Barbosa counters with a takedown into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sloppy strikes there by Barbosa.
The referee asks Barbosa politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Barbosa prefers to stall for the moment though.

Barbosa misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Barbosa is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Turner looks calm but he's in trouble here. Barbosa gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Turner is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Barbosa lets go of the hold and Turner can pop his arm back in it's socket.
