PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jon Sterling (ranked 5140 p4p, 5163 weight class) and Yvan Keller (ranked 240 p4p, 242 weight class). Sterling comes into the arena with ILovE blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sterling stuffs the takedown attempt from Keller. Keller gets slowly back to his feet.
Sterling ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Keller moves away.
Sterling misses with a series of wild punches.

Keller shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Sterling manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Sterling not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Keller content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Keller is in close to Sterling 's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Keller distracts Sterling with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Sterling working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Keller.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sterling is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Keller lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Sterling is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Keller cracks Sterling with a solid left hand.
Sterling will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Keller stands up over Sterling , holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Sterling is rocked!
Keller postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Sterling covers up, he's hurt! Keller keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Keller and the ref steps in to end the fight! Keller can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
