Coming up we have a featherweight kickboxing rules bout between Lloyd Badweather Jr (ranked 22391 p4p, 19702 weight class) and Juan Diaz (ranked 499 p4p, 511 weight class). Badweather Jr comes to the ring accompanied by Ay poyoo- GOAT. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lloyd Badweather Jr! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Juan Diaz! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Ren Mimura and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Diaz takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Diaz misses with a body kick. Diaz will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
It looked like Badweather Jr was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Badweather Jr throws an overhand right that lands on Diaz's shoulder, as Diaz tries to avoid the shot. Badweather Jr scores with the left hand. Diaz knows he should have avoided that one. Badweather Jr throws a body shot but no joy. Badweather Jr shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Diaz is looking to land body kicks. Badweather Jr takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Badweather Jr throws a hook but Diaz avoids it easily. Badweather Jr scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Diaz takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Badweather Jr throws a right and a left that Diaz avoids nicely. Diaz looks like he wants to counter punch here. Diaz lands a jab to Badweather Jr's midsection. This has been an exciting period of action! Badweather Jr just misses with a punch to the body.
Diaz misses with a kick to the body.
Badweather Jr is looking to counter punch. Diaz throws a jab but it's blocked by Badweather Jr. Diaz ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Diaz throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Badweather Jr stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Badweather Jr on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Diaz misses with a body kick. Diaz just misses with a punch to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round. Badweather Jr throws out a loose jab but Diaz uses good head movement to avoid it. Diaz has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. A telegraphed right hand from Badweather Jr misses the target. Badweather Jr jabbing away but nothing is landing. Diaz throws a shot from downtown. Badweather Jr moves away and avoids it. Diaz scores with a nice head shot. Badweather Jr misses with an uppercut. Badweather Jr avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Badweather Jr feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Diazs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Badweather Jr lands a lovely overhand right. Badweather Jr throws a right and a left that Diaz avoids nicely. Diaz buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Badweather Jr throws a lazy right hand but Diaz sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Diaz on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Diaz uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Badweather Jr. Good exchange - Badweather Jr coming out on top. Badweather Jr is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Badweather Jr avoids a kick to the body.
Diaz misses the shot to the body. Diaz connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Badweather Jr lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Diaz scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Diaz misses the jab. Diaz ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Badweather Jr moves away. Badweather Jr waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Diaz. Diaz throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Badweather Jr. Diaz misses with a low kick.
Badweather Jr checks a leg kick. Diaz drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Badweather Jr walks into a perfectly timed head kick by Diaz and drops face first to the floor! Badweather Jr's eyes are wide open but he's not all there - he's just flopping around the mat like a drunk on rollerskates! The referee doesn't even start the count - he's called an end to the fight, with Badweather Jr in no position to continue!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Juan Diaz!
