PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Adolf Hitler (ranked 2576 p4p, 3617 weight class) and Miyamoto Musashi (ranked 252 p4p, 331 weight class). Hitler comes to the cage accompanied by Russian Dancing Men. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Miyamoto Musashi was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Adolf Hitler!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Miyamoto Musashi!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Jorge Garcia and Russell Pearce.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Musashi.
Hitler pushes Musashi away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Musashi gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Hitler trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Hitler definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Hitler really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Musashi has a takedown stuffed.
Hitler throws a push kick but Musashi slaps the foot to one side.
Musashi drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Hitler defends it well.
Hitler tries a head kick but it misses.
Musashi feints the counter takedown.
Musashi checks the leg kick.

Musashi closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Musashi stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Adolf Hitler seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hitler tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Hitler throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

Musashi tries for a takedown but Hitler sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Musashi moves out of range of the leg kick from Hitler.
Hitler throws a head kick but Musashi moves out of range.
Hitler misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Hitler is breathing heavily.
Hitler throws a head kick that misses.
Hitler leaves Musashi with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Adolf Hitler has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Miyamoto Musashi.
Hitler slaps away a takedown attempt from Musashi, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Hitler seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Hitler tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Hitler attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Hitler stuffs the takedown attempt from Musashi. Musashi gets slowly back to his feet.
Horrible takedown attempt by Musashi or perhaps it was just good defense by Hitler, which made it look bad.

Hitler throws a low kick but Musashi moves out of range easily.
Hitler darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Musashi shoots in for a takedown but Hitler shows good takedown defense.

and Musashi counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Musashi stands up from Hitler's guard - Musashi perhaps looking for a knockout.
Musashi is trying hard to land a takedown here. Hitler sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Hitler misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Musashi fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Musashi shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hitler sprawls well. Hitler wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Musashi gets slowly back to his feet.
Hitler looks to score with a jab to the body but Musashi is just out of range.
Hitler keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Hitler connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Musashi checks a leg kick nicely.
Musashi tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Musashi moves out of range of the leg kick from Hitler.
Hitler displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Musashi.
As Musashi tries to get set, Hitler tries to push him back and clinch up but Musashi manages to avoid the attempt.
Hitler takes a swing at Musashi's ribcage but misses.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Musashi.

Musashi scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Musashi prevents Hitler from standing back up.

Musashi decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Hitler misses with a low kick.
Musashi blocks a head kick by Hitler.
Musashi avoids the head kick by Hitler.
Hitler throws a head kick that misses.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Hitler lands with a kick to the ribs.
Hitler misses with a body kick.

Musashi shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Hitler is trying to defend but Musashi finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hitler looks like he's trying to stand up.

Musashi gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
Some bone on bone action there as Musashi checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Musashi slips a jab from Hitler.
Hitler pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Musashi shoots in looking for a takedown but Hitler manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Musashi's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Musashi fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Musashi checks the leg kick.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Adolf Hitler dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

A head kick misses from Hitler.
Hitler throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Musashi moves out of range of the body kick from Hitler.
Hitler misses the shot to the body.
Musashi shoots in but Hitler avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Hitler throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Hitler scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Musashi.
Adolf Hitler is winning the standup battle so far.
Hitler falls off balance throwing a combination

and Musashi decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Hitler's guard.

Hitler is rocked!
Hitler is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Musashi is controlling him.
Oh Hitler is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hitler is working an open guard so Musashi takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Musashi shoots in for a takedown. Oh, that's a huge slam! Hitler is on queer street and Musashi is pounding down on him with a barage of strikes. The ref is forced to step in and stop the fight. Great finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:53 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Slam). Miyamoto Musashi!
Miyamoto Musashi very nearly forgot to thank Brooklyn Apothecary amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
Adolf Hitler spoke after the fight, saying 'I beat him, everyone out there know I beat him. Listen I controlled the fight, he was missin'. Look I want to thank the whole hood for coming out tonight.'.
