Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ryo Chonen (ranked 3981 p4p, 5476 weight class) and Giancarlo Ferrari (ranked 201 p4p, 249 weight class). Ferrari has chosen Me in honey as his entrance music. Ryo Chonen has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Giancarlo Ferrari!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Reed Andrews and Anthony Taglia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferrari takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Chonen connects with a good right hand that stumbles Ferrari. Ferrari circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Chonen connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Ferrari is looking to clinch.
Ferrari tries to clinch there but Chonen circles away.
Ferrari on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Chonen cracks Ferrari with a good jab.
Ferrari throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Chonen's waist but Chonen gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ferrari off to one side.
Chonen swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Chonen seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Chonen lands a really nice looking cross but Ferrari seems unphased.
Ferrari fails with the takedown
and Ferrari takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ferrari shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Chonen counters with a nice right hand that sends Ferrari toppling to the canvas! Ferrari scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Chonen finish him?!

Ferrari is rocked!
Ryo Chonen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Giancarlo Ferrari.
Chonen cracks Ferrari with a left hook right on the temple and Ferrari goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Chonen lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Ferrari is OK!
