Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jack Frost (ranked 2137 p4p, 2085 weight class) and Chop Douglas (ranked 262 p4p, 256 weight class). Chop Douglas is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jack Frost! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Chop Douglas! The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Matheus Silva and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Frost closes the distance and pushes Douglas back into the cage. Frost will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Douglas up against the cage. Douglas tries to pull guard but Frost won't allow it.
Frost gets control of Douglas's arms and successfully pulls guard. Frost will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Douglas trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Frost is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Douglas won't allow Frost to pass to mount. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Frost is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Frost prevents Douglas from improving his position. Frost has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Frost not doing much here.
Douglas wants to improve his position but Frost is controlling well.
Frost decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Frost shoots in looking for a takedown but Douglas manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Frost's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Frost keeps the fight on the outside. Frost gets in close and instigates a clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Frost gets a trip takedown into half guard. Frost thows a huge punch but Douglas dodges it nicely.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Frost has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Frost is working for a kimura but Douglas is defending it quite comfortably.
Frost looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Frost looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Douglas really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Frost. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Frost takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. This is a sustained period of stalling by Frost. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Douglas looking for submissions off his back. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Jack Frost dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Frost stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Frost wants it to stay on the feet. Douglas looks for a takedown but Frost sprawls well. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Douglas. Jack Frost has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chop Douglas. Frost closes the distance and clinches up with Douglas, looking for a takedown. Frost pushes Douglas against the cage but Douglas circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Frost doesn't manage to clinch there - Douglas circles away.
Frost rushes Douglas and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Frost pulls guard successfully.
Frost looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Douglas is working Frost over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Frost has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Douglas should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Frost has tightened it up now! Douglas should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
