Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jin Su!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jose Glasgow !
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Dirk Anderson and Michael Johnstone.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A right-left combo lands from Su.
Glasgow misses with an uppercut
and Su counters with a nice kick to the body.
A punch lands to the side of Glasgow 's head but he takes it in his stride.

It looks like Jose Glasgow has been cut.

Glasgow gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Glasgow has Su pressed against the cage, preventing Su from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Su is trying to break free.
The referee is keeping an eye on Glasgow - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Glasgow working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Su wants to break the clinch but can't.
Glasgow has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Su is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Glasgow lands a left hand that snaps the head of Su backwards.
Glasgow lands on the inside with an uppercut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Glasgow ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Glasgow no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Su will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Glasgow seems keen to control Su's posture.
Glasgow is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Su wants to control from the top but Glasgow keeps moving.
Glasgow looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Glasgow can do anything to dispel that myth.

Glasgow wriggles free and stands up.

Glasgow closes the distance and pushes Su back into the cage.
Su wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Glasgow has him pressed against the cage.
Glasgow throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Sus head.
Glasgow tries for a takedown. No joy.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Glasgow makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Glasgow has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Su uses from the top position.
Glasgow controlling Su's posture.

Glasgow has his feet on Su's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Su throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Glasgow 's head.
Glasgow chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Su can pounce on him.

Su lands a big head kick that sends Glasgow tumbling to the mat! Su takes a step backwards and waves Glasgow back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Glasgow takes the fight into the clinch.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Glasgow lands a left hand.
Glasgow is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Su really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Glasgow pushes Su back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Su is rocked!
Glasgow lands a nice uppercut.
Oh Su is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Su blocks an uppercut.

Glasgow has clasped his hands together around Su's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Glasgow scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Su is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Glasgow can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jose Glasgow !
