Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mfer Phol (ranked 3009 p4p, 4009 weight class) and Frank Blank (ranked 113 p4p, 140 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blank loads up on a big right hand but Phol slips the punch.
No joy there for Phol, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Mfer Phol seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Phol swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Blank let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Phol connects with a single shot there.

It looks like Frank Blank has been cut.
Blank scores with a decent looking hook.
Blank lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Phol backs up against the cage.

It looks like Mfer Phol has been cut.
Blank misses with a jab, cross combination.
Phol dips to his left and cracks Blank with an uppercut!
The fighters circling - Phol throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Blank throws a front kick aimed at Phol's knee but Phol avoids it well.

We've been told by Phol's head coaches at Island Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Blank bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Phol dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Blank needs to keep his hands up - Phol had a free shot at his head there.

That has opened up Frank Blank's cut even more.

Phol moves into the clinch.
Phol throws a punch but it's blocked by Blank.
We've been informed that Blank has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Phol drops Blank onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Blank is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
A right hook to the body lands for Phol.
Blank looks winded!
Phol lands with a light punch inside.

The cut above Frank Blank's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Phol pushes Blank against the cage. Phol is working some dirty boxing. Phol pushes off with a quick right hook! Blank goes down! Blank tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Phol moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
