Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mucak Shanikov!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Josh West and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DaOpps blocks a head kick by Shanikov.
DaOpps closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Shanikov is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. DaOpps is defending well for now.
DaOpps tries to pull guard but Shanikov holds him up against the cage and eventually DaOpps drops back down to his feet.
DaOpps tries to pull guard but Shanikov won't allow it.
DaOpps tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Shanikov smiles and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for F00K DaOpps. That's going to take a lot out of him.
DaOpps gets in close and instigates a clinch.
DaOpps is trying to pull guard but Shanikov has him pressed against the cage.
DaOpps pulls guard effortlessly.
Shanikov stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. DaOpps swivels though and keeps the full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Shanikov has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of DaOpps is proving hard to escape from.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
DaOpps has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Shanikov doesn't defend quickly enough and DaOpps has managed to lock this one up! Can Shanikov escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to DaOpps on a fantastic submission victory.
