The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Dmitry Maklakov and Ivan Kurochkin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McWrestle shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Valdez but Valdez pushes him off and we're back to square one.

McWrestle tries to clinch up but Valdez circles away and keeps his distance.

Valdez shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. McWrestle is trying to defend but Valdez finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Valdez is stalling here. McWrestle is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Valdez seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and McWrestle has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

McWrestle has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Valdez is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in McWrestle's half guard.
