Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sidney Blarght (ranked 5804 p4p, 5960 weight class) and Aleksandr Djordjevic (ranked 431 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Sidney Blarght!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Aleksandr Djordjevic!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Daniel Franklin and Bart Greer.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Djordjevic throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Djordjevic misses with an uppercut. Blarght saw that one coming.
Blarght shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Djordjevic throws a big counter head kick but Blarght avoids it with no problem.
Djordjevic throws a hook but Blarght blocks it.
Blarght fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Djordjevic avoids it really well and circles away.
Djordjevic is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.

Djordjevic drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Djordjevic jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Djordjevic shoots for a takedown but Blarght saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Blarght swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Djordjevic scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Sidney Blarght seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Blarght closes the distance and pushes Djordjevic back into the cage.

Blarght has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Djordjevic avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Blarght's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

That was a close round but I would say that Sidney Blarght will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Blarght closes the distance and clinches up with Djordjevic, looking for a takedown. Blarght pushes Djordjevic against the cage but Djordjevic circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Blarght throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Djordjevic tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Blarght is in Djordjevic's guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Blarght got a little sloppy there for a moment and Djordjevic has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Blarght has managed to get both his arms back between Djordjevic's legs - danger averted.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Djordjevic lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Blarght changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Djordjevic looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Blarght is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Djordjevic's shoulder. That is not cool.
This is a sustained period of stalling by Blarght.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Blarght, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
