Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Joseph Allen (ranked 5677 p4p, 3049 weight class) and Assad Fez (ranked 0 p4p, 396 weight class). Assad Fez will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joseph Allen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Assad Fez!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Robert Twigg and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fez lands with an uppercut that bounces Allen off the cage and back into range.
Fez swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Allen feinted with a counter takedown.
Allen takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Fez throws a body shot but no joy.
Fez scores with a sloppy right hand. Allen should have avoided that one.
Fez throws a right hand that Allen ducks under and follows up with a left that Allen also avoids with ease.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Joseph Allen.
