CACC 193: Steel vs Arias PBP Commentary |
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the lightweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 11 wins and 10 losses; Bjj Steel! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Amsterdam, with a TWGC record of 33 wins and 18 losses; George Arias!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Daniel Franklin and Cecil Peabody.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Steel enables Arias to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Steel manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Steel (0) vs (2) Arias
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Steel holds on and takes a little breather.
