Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Davide Truninger!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Reece Foy!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Alyssa Summers and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Foy pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Foy misses with a leg kick
and Truninger counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Foy tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Truninger was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Foy looks to land a combination but Truninger avoids it well.
Truninger lands a glancing blow to the side of Foy's head.
Reece Foy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Truninger turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Foy throws a sloppy head kick
and Truninger counters with a huge left! Foy is in big trouble! He's backing up but Truninger isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Foy from any more damage. A dominating finish by Truninger!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Davide Truninger!
After winning the bout, Davide Truninger thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
