Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Xpto Xpto (ranked 2579 p4p, 2133 weight class) and Monty Proffit (ranked 317 p4p, 268 weight class). Monty Proffit is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Proffit manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Proffit pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Xpto back to the cage. Proffit follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Xpto shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Proffit as he jumps to the side.
Xpto closes this distance looking for a takedown but Proffit circles away.
Proffit tries to counter with a clinch but Xpto shakes him off and moves away.

Proffit lands with a big left! Xpto is wobbled badly! Proffit comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Xpto to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
