Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alec Harvey (ranked 2802 p4p, 5351 weight class) and Hajimaro Fujinuma (ranked 333 p4p, 534 weight class). Harvey kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Lemonade - Yungblud & Denzel Curry. Fujinuma has chosen Yooooooooo as his entrance music. Hajimaro Fujinuma has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Alec Harvey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Hajimaro Fujinuma!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Gregory Folan and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fujinuma shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Harvey as he avoids it easily.
Harvey tries to keep at a distance but Fujinuma has taken the fight into the clinch.

Alec Harvey has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hajimaro Fujinuma.

The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Harvey for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.
Harvey gets through Fujinuma's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Harvey pushes Fujinuma back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Fujinuma has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Harvey is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Harvey swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Fujinuma.
Harvey stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Harvey bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Harvey lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Fujinuma gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Harvey cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Harvey ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Harvey wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Harvey connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Fujinuma's hands.
Fujinuma closes the distance and clinches.

Harvey throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Harvey breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Harvey lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Fujinuma backs up against the cage.

Fujinuma takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Harvey punishes Fujinuma's body with a nice straight punch.
Harvey tries to bum rush Fujinuma with a series of wild strikes but Fujinuma uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Fujinuma shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Harvey defends it nicely.

Harvey scores with a crisp jab that stopped Fujinuma in his tracks.
Harvey lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Harvey is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Harvey is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

and Harvey connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

It looks like Harvey has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.

Fujinuma is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Harvey connects with a right hand. Fujinuma shakes it off.

and Harvey counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Harvey cracks Fujinuma with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Fujinuma falls to his knees and Harvey doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Alec Harvey!
During a confident post fight interview, Alec Harvey thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
