Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Dallas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gene White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). White has chosen Grim knocking on your Door as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Johnny Dallas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Gene White!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dallas misses with a two punch combination.
Dallas avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
White fails with an attempt to clinch.
White misses with a double jab
and Dallas counters with a nice double leg into guard.
White working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dallas doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Dallas manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Dallas is looking to stand up but White won't let him.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
White lands a decent punch to the body there.
Dallas wants to get up but he can't break White's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Dallas drops back, looking for a kneebar! White looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. White looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from White!
Dallas is breathing heavily.
White thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
That's one minute gone in the round.
White tries for a kimura but Dallas is defending well.
Dallas is looking for a sweep.
Dallas wants to control but White postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
White has hold of Dallas's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Dallas seems comfortable defending it but White has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Dallas is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Dallas is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but White couldn't care less - he's delighted!
