Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Oleksandr Kimbors (ranked 5857 p4p, 6139 weight class) and Shannon Marshall (ranked 539 p4p, 560 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 2 - 1, fighting out of New York, Oleksandr Kimbors! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Shannon Marshall! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Gwen Towbar and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Marshall rushes Kimbors and presses him up against the cage. Both guys are working to get underhooks. Kimbors misses with a punch on the inside.
Kimbors is trying to push Marshall away but Marshall has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Marshall gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Marshall passes Kimbors's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Marshall slows the pace down in half guard. Kimbors is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Marshall pulls his head out easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Marshall wants to get back to his feet.
Marshall is looking for a kimura but Kimbors is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Marshall to get the leverage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kimbors throws a sloppy strike from the bottom. He's now off balance and Marshall manages to pass to side control. Kimbors can't do much from the bottom here. Kimbors is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Tran MMA Gym, so we'll see if he gets out of it. Marshall cracks Kimbors with a big right hand but Kimbors just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
The referee asks Marshall politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Marshall prefers to stall for the moment though. Kimbors is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Marshall scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Kimbors to see if he's OK. Marshall advances nicely into full mount. Kimbors is looking to improve his position but Marshall isn't that keen on the idea. Marshall landing punches.
It looks like Oleksandr Kimbors has been cut. Marshall landing shots from mount.
Oleksandr Kimbors's cut is getting worse. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Marshall landing strikes from the mount. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Marshall connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Kimbors is rocked!
Oleksandr Kimbors's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Oleksandr Kimbors's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Shannon Marshall! An out of breath Shannon Marshall thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
