Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Vinicius Kicklighter (ranked 2967 p4p, 3632 weight class) and Thorin Oakenshield (ranked 427 p4p, 513 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Vinicius Kicklighter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Thorin Oakenshield!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Daniel Franklin and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kicklighter slaps away a takedown attempt from Oakenshield, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Oakenshield fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Oakenshield tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kicklighter paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Kicklighter was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Kicklighter changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Kicklighter bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Oakenshield's head backwards.
It looks like Thorin Oakenshield has been cut.
Kicklighter listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Oakenshield throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kicklighter's waist but Kicklighter gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Oakenshield off to one side.
Vinicius Kicklighter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thorin Oakenshield.

Kicklighter tries to keep at a distance but Oakenshield has taken the fight into the clinch.

Oakenshield shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Kicklighter manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kicklighter on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Kicklighter tries to get out of the position.
Oakenshield in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Oakenshield trying to control the position from guard on top but Kicklighter is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Kicklighter lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Oakenshield tries to clinch but Kicklighter is having none of it.
Oakenshield shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Kicklighter holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
Kicklighter is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Oakenshield controlling the action here.
Oakenshield has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Oakenshield wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kicklighter keeps working.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Oakenshield misses with a takedown
and Kicklighter cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Oakenshield gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Kicklighter counters with a straight right hand.
Kicklighter is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Oakenshield shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kicklighter pinned against the cage. Kicklighter gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Kicklighter cracks Oakenshield with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
The cut above Thorin Oakenshield's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Kicklighter is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

and Kicklighter counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Kicklighter cracks Oakenshield with a brutal left hook that knocks him out cold! This one is over in a flash! Game over!
