Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Zenek Malina (ranked 2822 p4p, 5330 weight class) and Stevie Jay (ranked 386 p4p, 623 weight class). Malina comes to the cage accompanied by PROF - Squad Goals. Stevie Jay will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Stevie Jay!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, David Hoff and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Malina slips a jab from Jay.
Malina shoots in looking for a takedown. Jay tries to sprawl out of it but Malina keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jay manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Jay darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
It looks like Zenek Malina has been cut.
Jay tests Malina's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Jay looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Malina appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Malina moves out of range as Jay strikes.
Jay's coach down at Walter J Abramowitz Center for Bigness was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Jay's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Malina tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Malina fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jay manages to avoid it.
Jay loads up on a big right hand but Malina slips the punch.
Jay fails in his attempt to clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Malina shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Jay is looking to get back to is feet but Malina passes into side control.
Malina looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Malina thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Jay tries to buck Malina off but Malina is having none of it.
Malina is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Jay looks calm but he's in trouble here. Malina gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Jay is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Malina lets go of the hold and Jay can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Zenek Malina!
During a confident post fight interview, Zenek Malina thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
