Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Luke Mad Onion (ranked 224 p4p, 276 weight class) and Zeta Knox (ranked 39 p4p, 45 weight class). Knox has chosen Five Finger Death Punch | Bad Company as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mad Onion missing with a left hand there. Knox was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Knox throws out a counter right but Mad Onion avoids it with no problem.
Mad Onion connects with a leg kick.
Mad Onion throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Knox.
Knox keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Mad Onion.
Mad Onion swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Knox.

It looks like Zeta Knox has been cut.
Mad Onion avoids the body shot from Knox.
Knox takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Knox has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Mad Onion misses the jab.
Knox doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Mad Onion uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Knox.
A looping hook to the body misses from Knox. Mad Onion does a little dance to reset his feet.
Knox staying out of range there.
A little jabbing left from Knox on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
The fighters circling - Mad Onion throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Mad Onion throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Knox stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Mad Onion slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Knox connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Knox scores with a nice strike.

It looks like Luke Mad Onion has been cut.
Mad Onion fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Knox looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Mad Onion connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Mad Onion scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

Knox is rocked!

Mad Onion takes the fight into the clinch.
Knox is still on wobbly legs! Can Mad Onion finish him?

Knox manages to break the clinch.

Mad Onion gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Knox seems to have recovered his senses.
Knox lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Mad Onion misses with an elbow strike.
Knox blocks an uppercut.
Mad Onion tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Knox is working Mad Onion over against the cage.

Knox breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Mad Onion moves out of range of the strikes.
Mad Onion moves out of range as Knox strikes.
Mad Onion takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Mad Onion has taken the fight to the clinch.

Knox blocks an elbow strike.
Mad Onion using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Knox has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Mad Onion's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Knox breaks the clinch.
Knox comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Knox misses with a body shot.
Knox jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Knox lands a body shot.
Knox wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Knox throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Mad Onion scores with a head kick.
A slapping leg kick lands for Mad Onion.
Mad Onion throws a lazy uppercut
and Knox counters with a nice uppercut.
Mad Onion tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Knox was well out of range. Poor timing from Mad Onion.

Knox catches Mad Onion with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Mad Onion fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Knox, pushing him back against the cage.

Knox breaks the clinch.
Luke Mad Onion seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
