Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Illegal Immigrant (ranked 3676 p4p, 4023 weight class) and Balal Lama (ranked 463 p4p, 500 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Immigrant might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Immigrant Song. Balal Lama will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Immigrant is looking to stand up but Lama isn't so interested in that idea.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Lama in particular looking to stall.

Let's hope that Lama has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Immigrant is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Lama is controlling him well.

Lama has hold of Immigrant's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Immigrant tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Lama cranks the arm and Immigrant screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Immigrant, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
