Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 11 - 2, fighting out of Amsterdam, Daniel Brand!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Fedor Mazepin!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mazepin decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Brand is trying to stand up here but Mazepin is controlling him well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mazepin is looking for a kimura but Brand is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Mazepin to get the leverage.

Brand pushes Mazepin off and gets back to his feet.
Brand slaps away a takedown attempt from Mazepin, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Brand connects with a good right hand that stumbles Mazepin. Mazepin circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

It looks like Fedor Mazepin has been cut.
Brand throws a series of punches but Mazepin moves out of range.
Mazepin with the counter takedown but Brand avoids it easily.
Brand lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mazepin shoots in and drives through. Brand sprawls well.
Brand was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Mazepin slips a jab from Brand.
Brand looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Mazepin takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Brand lands a lovely overhand right.
Mazepin steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Brand.
Brand is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Brand scores with a body shot.
Brand throws a shot from downtown. Mazepin moves away and avoids it.
Mazepin slips under a jab from Brand.
Mazepin doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Brand counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Daniel Brand has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fedor Mazepin.
Brand tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Mazepin was well out of range. Poor timing from Brand.
Mazepin fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Brand listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.

Brand waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Mazepin. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Mazepin to the canvas! Can he finish him!?

Mazepin is working an open guard so Brand takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Mazepin is still on wobbly legs! Can Brand finish him?
Brand connects with a body shot.
Brand scores with a shot to the body.
Mazepin seems to have recovered his senses.
Mazepin looks winded!
Brand closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Mazepin out cold! Mazepin corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
