Van Cleefe has chosen Classics - The Master (1984) TV series as his entrance music. The key to victory for Try New has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 11 - 14 - 0, fighting out of London, Try New! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 15 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lee Van Cleefe! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Daniel Franklin and Stewart Dunkirk.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Van Cleefe throws a series of punches but New moves out of range. Van Cleefe fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. New looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Van Cleefe finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Van Cleefe gets a double leg takedown into New's guard.
Van Cleefe drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Van Cleefe seems to have locked his on tight now - New screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Van Cleefe, as he picks up the win!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kneebar). Lee Van Cleefe! Lee Van Cleefe took to the mic in his post fight interview and said 'Sho Kosugi I am here. Fight me.'.
