Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Helen Salvacion (ranked 24770 p4p, 6953 weight class) and Virgin Mary (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Helen Salvacion!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Virgin Mary!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Stewart Dunkirk and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Mary closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Mary lands in his opponent's guard.
Salvacion seems keen to control Mary's posture.
Mary is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Mary wanted to stand there but Salvacion had control of the position.

Mary is taking a breather. Salvacion says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Salvacion shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Mary's guard.
Mary is looking to stand up but Salvacion isn't so interested in that idea.
Mary is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Salvacion loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Mary with a lazy takedown attempt
and Salvacion counters with a single leg into guard. Mary didn't expect that.
Mary pushes Salvacion off and scrambles back to his feet.
Salvacion dives in for a single leg takedown but Mary sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Mary's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Salvacion goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Mary is trying to counter with his kicks.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Virgin Mary showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Mary appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.

Mary changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Salvacion tries to avoid it but Mary manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Salvacion to the ground. Salvacion escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Mary shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Virgin Mary is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Salvacion leaves Mary with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Well Mary has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
