Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 8 - 1, fighting out of New York, Bruno Salvacion!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 4 - 2, fighting out of New York, Alice Wonderland!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Jonathan Paton and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Wonderland goes for a double leg but Salvacion avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Salvacion continues to drive forward.
Salvacion appears to be looking for a big counter.
Salvacion dives in for a single leg takedown but Wonderland sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Salvacion turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

Wonderland pushes Salvacion away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Salvacion gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Wonderland seems to be looking for submissions.
Wonderland looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Salvacion fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Wonderland avoids it really well and circles away.
Wonderland replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Salvacion blocks it well.
Wonderland changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Salvacion tries to avoid it but Wonderland manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Salvacion to the ground. Salvacion escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
It looked like Salvacion was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Wonderland.

Salvacion darts in looking for a takedown but Wonderland gets double underhooks and turns Salvacion into the cage.

Wonderland drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Wonderland is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Wonderland has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Wonderland won't allow Salvacion to sweep him here.

Wonderland wants to get up but he can't break Salvacion's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Wonderland decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Salvacion, up you get!
Wonderland closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Salvacion quickly recovers to half guard.

Wonderland is taking a breather. Salvacion says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Wonderland wants to stand up but Salvacion is controlling the position.

Wonderland takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Alice Wonderland showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Well Wonderland has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
