With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Char Clip Snit!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smalls slips under a jab from Clip Snit.
No luck for Smalls with that takedown attempt.
Clip Snit thuds his right hand into Smalls's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Clip Snit throws a poor cross that misses

and Smalls counters with a nice double leg into side control. Clip Snit won't be happy with that.
Smalls trying to control the position but Clip Snit is working away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Smalls is working to tighten his grip on Clip Snit's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Clip Snit has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Smalls is really squeezing tight and eventually Clip Snit passes out! Smalls breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
