Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Titus Lesnar (ranked 1626 p4p, 1552 weight class) and Schlunckr Diesel (ranked 175 p4p, 168 weight class). Lesnar's entrance music is Next Big Thing. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Titus Lesnar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Schlunckr Diesel! The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Daniel Franklin and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Diesel throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Lesnar tries to counter with a takedown but Diesel is quick to defend against it. Diesel with a body punch. A glancing blow. Lesnar avoids the body shot from Diesel.
Schlunckr Diesel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Diesel misses the jab. Lesnar slips under a jab. Lesnar attempts a counter takedown but Diesel avoids it well and moves away. Diesel lands a right hook to the body.
Lesnar moves out of range as Diesel strikes. A slow jab from Diesel misses its intended target. Lesnar takes a shot to the body in his stride.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lesnar ducks under a wild hook from Diesel. Lesnar takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Diesel avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

and Lesnar counters with a nice double leg into side control. Diesel won't be happy with that. Lesnar definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. This has been an exciting period of action! Diesel tries to improve position but can't.
That's one minute gone in the round. Diesel is being controlled here. Lesnar grinds an elbow into Diesel's temple. You can see the frustration on Diesel's face as Lesnar controls the position. Lesnar has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Lesnar's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Lesnar throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Lesnar is putting a hurting on Diesel here, landing some big shots from side control. The ground and pound from Lesnar seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Diesel being controlled for a moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lesnar has control of an arm but Diesel manages to advance to Lesnar's back! Lesnar tries to roll but Diesel sticks to his back.
Lesnar manages to reverse the position and now he's in Diesel's guard. Nice work there by Lesnar.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Diesel can do anything to dispel that myth. Lesnar postures up in Diesel's guard and throws a big left but Diesel blocks it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lesnar controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Lesnar cracks Diesel with a solid left hand. Lesnar throws a big elbow that misses. Lesnar is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Lesnar is looking to work some ground and pound but Diesel has wrist control. Lesnar might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Lesnar lands a couple of elbows. Lesnar landing some decent shots from guard. Lesnar is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Lesnar's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Lesnar loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Lesnar chips away with some ground and pound.

Lesnar sitting in guard, not really doing much. Lesnar gets to his feet and stands over Diesel, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Diesel felt that one! Lesnar unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Diesel from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Titus Lesnar! Titus Lesnar was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
