Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Eaton Rockwell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Callum McGregor! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Bart Greer and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rockwell shoots and misses and McGregor counters with a left to the body. Rockwell looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. McGregor should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. McGregor tries to kick Rockwell off but Rockwell keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rockwell sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. McGregor defending well though. Rockwell has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. McGregor is trying to stand back up but Rockwell is controlling him
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Rockwell connects with a nice short shot to McGregor's temple. That's one minute gone in the round. Rockwell wants to take a breather but McGregor is having none of it. Rockwell tries to pass the half guard into mount. McGregor knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Rockwell lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. McGregor really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rockwell. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Rockwell landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Rockwell prevents McGregor from standing back up.

Ground and pound from Rockwell. McGregor is still in real trouble! Can Rockwell finish him? Rockwell lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt McGregor quite badly. McGregor pulls Rockwell in close trying to recover. Rockwell postures up and lands two really hard shots that put McGregor on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but McGregor doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
