Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jermaine Ferret (ranked 3145 p4p, 3001 weight class) and Sonatane Veainu (ranked 407 p4p, 392 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferret uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Veainu.
Ferret swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Ferret misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Veainu.
Ferret ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Ferret will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Veainu throws a shot from downtown. Ferret moves away and avoids it.
Ferret throws a lazy right hand but Veainu sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Jermaine Ferret seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Veainu lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Veainu lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Ferret backwards.

Veainu lands a nice hook to Ferret's body. Ferret takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Veainu cracks Ferret with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Ferret looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Veainu finish him?
