PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kurt Angle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyler Durden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Angle comes to the cage accompanied by Kurt Angle. Durden has chosen ANIT NO REST FOR THE WICKED as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tyler Durden!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Bruno Lombardi and John Roberts.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Durden moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Angle misses with a takedown attempt - Durden sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Angle tries for a takedown but Durden sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Angle fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Durden lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Angle feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Durden sneaks out the side door and pushes Angle away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Tyler Durden is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
