The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Dirk Anderson and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Waltston throws a jab but it's blocked by Holmes.
Waltston scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Holmes connects with a single shot there.
Holmes's corner calls for a 1-2. Holmes obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
It looks like Mike Waltston has been cut.
Good standup being displayed there by Waltston as he connects with a hook.
Waltston misses with a hook. Holmes ducked under it nicely.
Waltston definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Holmes smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Holmes throws a series of punches but Waltston moves out of range.
Waltston takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Holmes connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Waltston momentarily.
Holmes uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Waltston.
Holmes has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
