Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Anti Happy (ranked 1324 p4p, 1280 weight class) and Mama Tosen (ranked 144 p4p, 140 weight class). Happy comes into the arena with Bvana iz lagune & Mikri Maus - AntiHepi blaring out of the sound system. Mama Tosen told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Anti Happy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mama Tosen!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Percy O'Donnell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Happy takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
A big right from Tosen misses.
Tosen cracks a nice hook into Happy's ribs.
Happy fails with the takedown.
Tosen appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Tosen gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Happy has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Happy stands and throws Tosen's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Happy tries to advance to mount but can't.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Tosen wants to control but Happy postures up.
Happy misses with the ground and pound.
Tosen is looking to regain half guard here but Happy keeps moving and retains side control.
Happy laying and praying for a moment but Tosen takes advantage and regains half guard.
Tosen makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Tosen.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Tosen has control of Happy's left arm, preventing Happy from doing any damage.
Tosen wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Happy is now in half guard.
Tosen looking for submissions off his back.
Happy perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Tosen taking some punishment here, with Happy in his half guard.
Happy thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Tosen might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Happy haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Tosen moves into full guard.
Tosen is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Tosen is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Happy has his hands clasped together but Tosen extends and breaks Happy's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Tosen.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Mama Tosen!
During a confident post fight interview, Mama Tosen thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
