Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brendan Quiniou!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tax Payer keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
It looks like Brendan Quiniou has been cut.
Good standup being displayed there by Tax Payer as he connects with a hook.
Quiniou tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Tax Payer is able to avoid easily.
Tax Payer has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Quiniou connects with a single shot there.
Quiniou lands with an uppercut that bounces Tax Payer off the cage and back into range.
Tax Payer attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.

Quiniou bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Quiniou checks a leg kick.
Tax Payer ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Quiniou moves away.
Tax Payer fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Quiniou on the side of the head.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Tax Payer throws a low kick but Quiniou avoids it.
Quiniou is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
A looping hook to the body misses from Quiniou. Tax Payer does a little dance to reset his feet.
Tax Payer was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Quiniou misses with a looping left.
Tax Payer throws a front kick aimed at Quiniou's knee but Quiniou avoids it well.
Quiniou throws a counter combo.
Tax Payer throws a hook but Quiniou avoids it easily.

Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Tax Payer. Quiniou shrugs it off though.

Quiniou missing with a left hand there. Tax Payer was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Tax Payer uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Quiniou.
Tax Payer throws a solid leg kick but Quiniou takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Tax Payer.
Quiniou swings for the body but Tax Payer moves out of range.
Quiniou thuds a left hand into Tax Payer's body.
No joy there for Quiniou, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Tax Payer lands a really nice looking cross but Quiniou seems unphased.

and Tax Payer takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Quiniou is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Tax Payer.
Tax Payer throws a low kick but Quiniou avoids it.
Tax Payer throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Tax Payer tries to move into range but Quiniou moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Quiniou uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Tax Payer.
A telegraphed right hand from Quiniou misses the target.
Quiniou throws an overhand right that lands on Tax Payer's shoulder, as Tax Payer tries to avoid the shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Tax Payer takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Tax Payer jabs Quiniou right on the nose. Quiniou blinks but takes it well.
Quiniou is rocked!
Quiniou switches off momentarily and Tax Payer cracks him with a monster right hand! Quiniou topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Tax Payer dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Tax Payer!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Finnish Tax Payer!
In his post fight interview, Finnish Tax Payer started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
