Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kelly Cameron (ranked 3087 p4p, 4816 weight class) and Michail Rasnov (ranked 295 p4p, 507 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kelly Cameron !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Michail Rasnov!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rasnov closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Cameron 's guard.
Cameron tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Rasnov looking to pass the guard.
Cameron knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rasnov on the ground.
Cameron looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Cameron keeping full guard, as Rasnov tries to pass.
Rasnov showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Cameron will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cameron wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Rasnov is now in half guard.

Rasnov is working for a kimura but Cameron is defending it quite comfortably.

Rasnov is thwarting Cameron 's attempts to control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rasnov looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Cameron with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Rasnov takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Rasnov lands strikes from half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rasnov perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Cameron is looking to control Rasnov's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Cameron avoid being mounted?

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Rasnov passes into side control, despite Cameron 's attempt to control the position.
Cameron is trying to control Rasnov's posture but Rasnov avoids it.
Cameron is looking for a sweep.
Cameron trying to remain calm as Rasnov controls from the top position.
Rasnov is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Cameron is looking to regain half guard here but Rasnov keeps moving and retains side control.

Rasnov is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Cameron knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Rasnov in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Rasnov wants to stand but Cameron has his arm trapped.
Rasnov takes a little break here. Cameron wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Rasnov wants to stand but Cameron is controlling his arm.
Cameron might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Cameron taking punishment in the form of punches.
Rasnov working the body and head with strikes.
Cameron is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Rasnov just content to control the position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
An elbow from Rasnov crashes against the mat.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Michail Rasnov dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Cameron lands a jab.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Rasnov.
Rasnov sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Cameron is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Rasnov tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Rasnov has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Rasnov staying calm.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Rasnov is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Cameron is trying to escape and Rasnov transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Cameron is forced to tap! Nice work there by Rasnov! Very nice indeed!
