Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Emerson Jorge and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lane circles away from the clinch attempt.
Heining tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lane swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Heining closes the distance and pushes Lane back into the cage.
Lane is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Lane escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Heining fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Lane manages to avoid it.
Heining rushes Lane and presses him up against the cage.
Heining stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Heining tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Come on Heining - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Lane has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Heining is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Heining keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Lane's efforts to push away.
Lane breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Heining clinches with his opponent.
Heining has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Lane clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Heining punishes Lane with strikes from the back mount.
Lane is having to fend off submission attempts from Heining, who is looking to sink in the choke. Heining doesn't have the hooks in though and Lane manages to reverse position! He's now on top, in his opponent's guard.
Heining has his feet on Lane's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Heining throws a big shot that misses.
Heining walks into a straight right hand from Lane.
Heining throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

Heining throws a lazy head kick
and Lane counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Lane.
Heining dives in for a single leg takedown but Lane sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Heining slows down the pace here.
Lane breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Heining tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Lane gets caught napping as Heining dives in and scores a takedown. Lane manages to retain guard.
Lane wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Heining manages to pass to side control.

Heining seems to be working for a kimura but Lane defends the submission attempt.
Lane is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Heining scores with a couple of nice shots.
Heining keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Heining has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Still in half guard, Heining seems content to control.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Heining is looking to clinch but Lane is avoiding it.
Lane scores with a jab to the head.
Heining fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Lane sprawls well initially but Heining persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Heining content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Heining lands a nice short elbow.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Heining working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Heining takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

BOOM! Heining connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Heining tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Heining has control of Lane's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Lane regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Heining raining down hammerfists from mount.
Heining is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Lane can do to turn this around?
Heining is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Lane is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Lane flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Heining anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Lane and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Heining slips an arm under Lane chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Heining has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Heining is squeezing on Lane like an anaconda would it's prey. Lane fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
