The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pinto shoots in for a takedown but Bullet shows good takedown defense.
Bullet is breathing heavily.
Pinto tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Pinto shoots for a takedown but Bullet saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Bullet throws a big counter combination but Pinto scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Pinto moves in looking to clinch but Bullet pushes him off.
Bullet misses with a jab, cross combination.
Pinto shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Bullet as he avoids it easily.
Jack Bullet has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Heavy Pinto.
Pinto falls off balance throwing a combination

and Bullet counters by clinching up.
Bullet gets underhooks to prevent Pinto's takedown attempt.
Pinto wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bullet decides to pull guard.
Bullet keeping moving, preventing Pinto from controlling successfully.
Pinto trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Pinto is looking to work some ground and pound but Bullet has wrist control.
We've been hearing good reports from Bullet's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Pinto stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Bullet to get to his feet.
Pinto fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Bullet avoids it really well and circles away.

Pinto tries to clinch there but Bullet circles away.
Bullet seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.

Pinto tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bullet sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Pinto somewhat.
Bullet appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Pinto fails with a takedown attempt.
As Pinto tries to get set, Bullet tries to push him back and clinch up but Pinto manages to avoid the attempt.

Pinto scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Bullet throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bullet stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Bullet wants it to stay on the feet.

Pinto misses with a takedown attempt - Bullet sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Pinto shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Bullet defends it nicely.
Bullet drops down looking for a counter takedown but Pinto sprawls and moves away.

Bullet manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Pinto on his heels. He'll look to pass Pinto's guard now, I'm sure.

Bullet is sitting in close to Pinto's body. Pinto has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Bullet is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Bullet is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Pinto.
