Freibergs shoots in looking for a takedown. Mikulasek tries to sprawl out of it but Freibergs keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mikulasek manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Mikulasek misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Freibergs.
Mikulasek throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
No luck for Mikulasek with that takedown attempt.
Freibergs unleashes a big counter combination but Mikulasek bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Mikulasek is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mikulasek has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Freibergs has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Mikulasek doesn't defend quickly enough and Freibergs has managed to lock this one up! Can Mikulasek escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Freibergs on a fantastic submission victory.
