Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Will Jackson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Mickey Cowan!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Chad Campbell and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We've been informed that Cowan has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Jackson wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Cowan has him pressed against the cage.

That was a close round but I would say that Will Jackson will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mickey Cowan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Oh Jackson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Cowan digs a right hand underneath Jackson's ribcage. Jackson let out a lung full of air as it connected.

and Cowan counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Jackson! He's just covering up as Cowan starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!

During a confident post fight interview, Mickey Cowan thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
