Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Don Johns (ranked 2621 p4p, 863 weight class) and Darth Sidious (ranked 69 p4p, 24 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Johns throws a counter high kick but Sidious was just alert enough to avoid it.
We've been informed that Sidious has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Johns takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Sidious's corner calls for a 1-2. Sidious obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sidious displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Johns throws out the jab.

and Johns scores with a counter punch that sends Sidious to the canvas! Johns smells blood - he's punishing Sidious with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Sidious has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
